ONE YOU! Apps to Support Healthy Living

Has anyone heard about a free app called ‘Couch to 5k’? It is an app that anyone can download onto their phones that helps support people who don’t run or exercise to be able to run 5k in just nine weeks. You can set the app to play your favourite music while your chosen celebrity coach will talk to you and motivate you.
The times and days that you run will be entirely up to you and around your schedule. The reviews for this app have been very positive and some have even said it has encouraged them to by healthier in other areas of their life as well, such as healthy eating and quitting smoking. Many have lost weight, are sleeping better and become healthier using this app. It is amazing how just running can affect someone’s mental wellbeing as well.
