OP had found a lump on his leg and was concerned he was advised he could ring the GP if this was painful or he was concerned he wanted to get it checked.
OP independently took himself to the GP and they prescribed him a course of antibiotics to take one tablet four times a day for 5 days.
OP was spoken to about his antibiotics to make sure he understood when and how to take them, OP advised he understood, I advised OP that he needs to take the tablet before food.
I asked support staff to support him to set up alarms on his phone for the times he would need to take them.
I then advised I would call OP and check in with him to remember to take his antibiotic, at lunch time and the afternoons and asked staff to remind him when he has his morning medication and to visually check.
On the first day of OP taking his medication I called him at 12:30pm to remind him and again at 4.30pm and 8:30pm and repeated the next day.
The third day I called him at 12:30pm asked him if he had taken his antibiotic this morning, he advised he had and had taken the one for this afternoon, I reminded him to the times to take the next two.
OP was doing well to remember to take his antibiotic and staff were visually checking in support, I spoke with OP towards the end when they were finishing and he advised there was no concerns and all antibiotics were taken.
