Phoenix Support 

I would like to say how much Phoenix have helped me since I came to Maidstone in 2021 after seven years in hospital. I have been well looked after and cared for reliably for all that time, enabling me to live in the community again with increasing levels of independence, so that my hours of support have reduced from 21 when I started to 12 a week recently. 

They have helped me cope with the move to my own flat 6 weeks ago and have been able to send the same staff as before I moved which has greatly reduced my stress at a difficult time. I have recently had bad news about illness in my family and it has been so important to have people I can trust to talk to about it. 

 I am grateful for all they have done over the last 5 years and would recommend them to anyone with support needs in the community.

I would like to provide some feedback regarding the support I receive from Phoenix. 

Reflecting on the time before I began receiving support, I had recently gone through a divorce and had moved into a new property on my own. During that period, I was struggling significantly. Since receiving support from Phoenix, I feel much more settled and content with my life. 

Nicola has been incredibly supportive in helping me get everything in order and organised, which has made my day-to-day life far less stressful. She has also encouraged and supported me to re-engage with the community and work towards my personal goals. I genuinely look forward to my weekly visits with her. 

I am also very grateful to you, Sam, for always listening to my wishes, communicating with me every step of the way, and maintaining a friendly yet highly professional approach. 

Overall, I have found Phoenix Support to be a great asset to my life and my ability to live independently.

I’m just writing to provide some positive feedback about Sam in the office and the carers who visit my brother-in-law twice a day. 

We are very grateful for the care and support they provide; even though he doesn’t allow them to do much, their visits provide us with great reassurance he is ok and clean. 

Sam at head office has been extremely helpful and supportive whenever we have needed assistance. This level of kindness and professionalism from her is truly appreciated.
